The governing documents of Magnolia Ridge require homeowners to obtain prior written approval from the Association before making any alterations to the exterior of your home or lot. When and if you wish to make alterations, please complete an Exterior Modification Application and submit with required plans and site map showing location of the modification. Modifications must conform to the Architectural Standards for Magnolia Ridge.

Changes to Architectural Standards
Updated Architectural Standards and Tips for ARC Submissions
For those of you that didn't attend the most recent monthly HOA meeting, we have some exciting news to share!
You spoke, we listened!
The #1 reason for ARC change requests being denied was the request for black shingles during a roof replacement. After research the process for changing the rules, the pros and cons of making the change, and the opinions of our expert ARC team, the board voted unanimously to amend the community standards to expand the allowable roof colors from "medium to deep brown or grey ranges" to "medium to deep brown or grey ranges to include black."
I want to take this time to extend an extra "thank you!" to our volunteer ARC team. Without them, our community would need to pay an architectural firm to review changes - so these volunteers have saved every homeowner some precious HOA dollars. They work diligently to apply the documented standards to each submission to make sure the HOA overall is upholding our promises to the community. This change was effective 9/18 and the ARC will extended approvals for requests for black shingles starting on that date. Were you recently denied based on shingle color?
